DKMS CORD BLOOD BANK

DKMS Cord Blood Bank is the most recent member of the DKMS organization and it fights against blood cancer with stem cells from cord blood. These cells are particularly adaptable and they are therefore frequently the last chance for a cure for blood cancer patients with extremely rare tissue characteristics who would otherwise not find any donors. Thanks to a cord blood donation, newborns can already become heroes for a blood cancer patient.

The DKMS Cord Blood Bank is the only public cord blood bank that is active Germany-wide. In partnership clinics, cord blood donations are collected by specially trained personnel.
